Calling all BruSurrey members =)

As salam everyone.

The committee would like to implement the system of members paying for their 'membership' status. After a lengthy discussion, the committee has agreed upon this matter because to further develop and sustain the society, we need a solid budget. We should not always depend on the Student Union as well as BSUnion for funds.

Thus, we would like to collect the money from all the members by the 2nd of March. It was agreed that LDP officers will pay 10 pounds while MOE/Dana/MOFA/etc. will pay 5 pounds. For LDP officers, you can pass the money on to Haji Reduan. As for the others, you can pass it to Zaidah. I would to make it clear that the 'official' members of the society could only be the students of Surrey University. Therefore, if you have families, you won't need to pay for them :)

The money will be used to fund for our society's future events. Hence, some of the money you will give us on the 2nd of March will be instantly used for the National Day celebration. I do hope everyone understands the need for us committee members to implement this system.
